Meet The Doctor
Dr. David Nisenboym graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Russian language. He then attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from San Francisco’s University of the Pacific Dental School in 2013.
After completing dental school, he completed a dental residency with the Pascua Yaqui tribe of Arizona. While serving the dental needs of the tribe, he gained valuable clinical experience in many procedures including implant placement, IV conscious sedation, root canals, crowns, fillings, and dentures. Following his residency, Dr. Nisenboym returned to his alma mater for two years as a pre-clinical instructor. Dr. Nisenboym also holds an IV Conscious Sedation permit that enables him to administer IV sedation at his practice. He is also a member of the following professional organizations:

Dr. Nisenboym and his wife both enjoy surfing, hiking and playing with their 1 year old son!

I come from a long line of family in the dental field. I have several aunts, uncles, and cousins that are dentists, hygienists and assistants. My interest in working in the dental field started early. I was lucky enough to begin my career at our family’s practice in Fairfield and continued on to receive my Registered Dental Assistant license.
I am the eldest of two children. Even though my younger brother is in Southern CA, we are very close to our parents. Whenever we have a gathering, my family always asks me to be a part of the entertainment. I’m at my happiest when I’m acting, singing and/or playing an instrument. Jazz, R&B, Pop-I love it all!

Registered Dental Hygienist
I have worked in the dental field for over 20 years. I started as a Sterilization technician and Registered Dental Assistant and have now practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 10 years. I enjoy educating and encouraging patients on the importance of good oral health.
I am originally from Modesto and moved to Martinez in 2018. I completed my Dental Hygiene degree at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia. My husband and I have been together over 20 years and have two boys. Football is a huge thing for us since both my husband and sons play. When I’m not on the sidelines at the football field, I enjoy antique shopping and gardening. There’s nothing better than fresh fruits and vegetables from your own garden.

Office Manager
I was born in Pearl City, Hawaii. Growing up, I had an underbite and ended up spending so much time in the dental chair that a career in the field made perfect sense to me. I started out as a Registered Dental Assistant for several years before becoming a Financial Coordinator and now Office Manager for the Blue Wave Dental team. My focus is to attend to our patients’ needs, both clinically and financially. Seeing their smile and boost of self-confidence is the best part of my day!
I married my high school prom date. We have two adult sons and a Coton de Tulear dog. We are all big foodies and enjoy trying new restaurants. With the boys grown and out of the house, meals all together is a mom’s dream come true!
