Blue Wave Dental offers the dental services you need, from teeth straightening to implants to full mouth rehabilitation. Twice-yearly checkups and professional cleanings will start you off on the right foot to fight back against gum disease and tooth decay. We even offer laser cleanings, and if your gums need a little extra TLC, Dr. Nisenboym offers gum disease treatment. For additional ammunition against cavities, we’ve got dental sealants to keep the bad bacteria away.
Prevention is our aim at Blue Wave Dental! Oral cancer is one of the fastest-growing in the world, and each regular checkup with us includes oral cancer screening. We can remove old metal fillings if you choose, and we fabricate custom mouthguards and nightguards to protect your teeth during sports and sleep.
Restorative dentistry repairs what’s broken, removes what’s infected, and builds your teeth up to health and strength you’ll have to see to believe. Modern advancements in dental materials and technology allow Dr. Nisenboym to create restorations that are often difficult to distinguish from your original teeth. From durable tooth-colored fillings and crowns to bridges, same-day crowns and dentures to root canals, we can bring your teeth back to a place that makes you smile again.
Cosmetic dentistry can not only brighten your smile, it can build your confidence. A little teeth whitening is a great pick-me-up—don’t be afraid to treat yourself! There are other cosmetic restorations available for a more lasting solution—and if you want a complete smile makeover, Dr. Nisenboym can do that, too.
Dental implants are the #1 tooth replacement solution whether you’re asking dentists or implant patients. When teeth are missing, normal functions of the mouth can be compromised and bone loss can occur, which can cause a sunken-in facial appearance. Titanium implants enable formation of a new tooth root, so they mimic the structure of natural teeth—for a lifetime.
Implants have the capability to replace more than one tooth. If patients have favorable bone density, implant-supported dentures are a possibility—and All-on-4® can give you implants and new teeth in just one day. Because implants are permanent restorations, you can take care of them the same way you would your natural teeth.
Having any surgery is no one’s first choice for their leisure time, but Dr. Nisenboym can extract a troublesome tooth or perform a bone graft to strengthen jaw structure for potential implants with IV sedation in-office to make it that much easier. If you want an overhaul of your entire mouth, we’ll work with you to combine the services you need, mapping out a detailed treatment plan with you in advance.
Some studies estimate that a whopping 75% of Americans have some kind of anxiety or phobia about seeing the dentist—and of course, some people have more elevated anxiety levels than others. We have different sedation options available for patients who decide they want a little extra help staying relaxed while in the dental chair.
Anxiety about dental sedation is also common, but Dr. Nisenboym holds an advanced certification in conscious IV sedation. Because of this special credential, an additional anesthesiologist is not necessary, nor is having dental treatment in a hospital—which can cause a nervous patient even more worry! You can choose sedation for your procedure without having to leave our office.
Sooner or later—usually at the most inconvenient time possible—most of us will have a dental emergency. (For some guidance about what constitutes a dental emergency and what actions to take, please refer to this informative guide.) Of course, trying to remain calm is the most important action to take—and calling our office is another, because Dr. Nisenboym offers emergency care on call after hours.
We’re very proud of our technology at Blue Wave Dental—it enhances our ability to bring top-notch dentistry to your dental home with us, providing safety, predictability and precision to patient care.
