People smile more when they feel confident and less when think there may be food stuck in their teeth, which is a good analogy for how patients feel before and after cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry also adds something extra—of course, better-looking teeth will be pleasing to your eyes, but increased confidence will please your soul. Now that’s something to smile about!

Smile Design is a plan you and Dr. Nisenboym work on together as a team to get your smile where you want it to be. It can combine any of our cosmetic procedures to give you the smile you’ve always wanted—or get the smile back that you used to have.
There is a similar concept in reconstructive dentistry called full mouth reconstruction or rehabilitation. If you need reconstructive dental work, it would be done prior to any cosmetic procedures. Discuss your options and vision for your smile with Dr. Nisenboym and we can design the best plan for you—together!
Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are custom-made to cover the front surface of your teeth to improve their appearance. The veneers are permanently affixed to your teeth, making them whiter and of a more uniform size and shape. They solve a number of different dental issues, but since they are permanent, you will want to give them careful advance consideration.
Teeth whitening is the easiest, fastest and most affordable cosmetic dental procedure—it’s one of our most popular services here at Blue Wave Dental. It’s not permanent by any means, but it’s a wonderful pick-me-up and may inspire you to upgrade your oral hygiene when you see how great brighter teeth can make you feel.

Bonding is one of the least complicated and most affordable cosmetic dental procedures. Dr. Nisenboym prepares the tooth before applying the bonding resin, molding and shaping it throughout the process, before finally using a UV light or laser to bond it to the teeth.
Dental bonding can repair damage, change the shape of a tooth, whiten a discolored tooth, or even be incorporated into a filling, depending on the patient’s individual situation. Depending on the number of teeth being bonded, the procedure may be able to take place in just one appointment. Cared for properly, dental bonding can last up to 10 years.
Some people dislike their smiles because they feel their gums sit too high or too low on their teeth. Gum contouring, which is sometimes known as gum reshaping or tissue sculpting, can improve a “gummy” smile or straighten out an uneven gum line. It is not usually medically necessary, but gum contouring can definitely improve your smile.
