Dr. David Nisenboym graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior and a minor in Russian language. He then attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from San Francisco’s University of the Pacific Dental School in 2013.
After completing dental school, he completed a dental residency with the Pascua Yaqui tribe of Arizona. While serving the dental needs of the tribe, he gained valuable clinical experience in many procedures including implant placement, IV conscious sedation, root canals, crowns, fillings, and dentures. Following his residency, Dr. Nisenboym returned to his alma mater for two years as a pre-clinical instructor. Dr. Nisenboym also holds an IV Conscious Sedation permit that enables him to administer IV sedation at his practice. He is also a member of the following professional organizations:
In his spare time, Dr. Nisenboym enjoys surfing and spending time with family.
Allison grew up in the Bay Area. She is a laser-certified Registered Dental Hygienist and earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan (“Go Blue!”). Allison’s favorite part of her job is the social aspect—meeting and getting to know her patients.
In her free time, Allison enjoys hiking, biking, watching movies, going to concerts, and having family days and barbecues.
Yesenia, also known as Yesi was born and raised in San Jose, CA. She completed her Dental Assisting training at Carrington College and currently is a Registered Dental Assistant. In addition to being CPR certified, she also holds a certification in Pit and Fissure Sealants.
She is committed to helping patients and continually looks for ways to learn new things. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with patients. She really enjoys working with people and helping them stay healthy. Yesi believes it is important to educate her patients and is passionate about providing quality care.
When she is not in the office, Yesi loves to stay active. She enjoys activities such as hiking, backpacking, Barre, and strength training. She likes to relax as well by reading books, watching films, and spending time with her mother and two siblings. They love to discover new food spots. Her husband, Matthew is a software engineer, and they have four fur babies.
What she most enjoys about her job is being part of a team of professionals who work together to bring a smile to her patients. Her favorite part about being a dental assistant is working with Dr. David who is always pushing her to learn more about dentistry. With the constant change in technology, Belinda enjoys the growth in expanding her skill set. Each day brings new challenges, but her goal always remains the same: the well-being of her patients.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and spending time at the beach. She also loves trying new places to eat- especially taco spots!
Belinda is close to both of her parents and two siblings. They are all very family oriented and enjoy spending time together.
Liza was born in Pearl City, Hawaii and raised in a military family. Growing up, she had an underbite and ended up spending so much time in the dental chair that a career in the field made perfect sense to her. She was a Registered Dental Assistant for several years before becoming a Financial Coordinator and now Office Manager for the Blue Wave Dental team. Her focus is attending to patients’ needs and being able to help them fully understand and finance the dental treatments they want and need. Liza says, “Seeing their smile and boost of self-confidence is the best part of our day!”
In her spare time, Liza loves watching sports and traveling. She married her high school prom date, Rod, and they have two grown sons, Ricky and Ryan, and a dog named Rocco. She and her family are all big foodies and enjoy trying new restaurants. She says, “With the boys grown and out of the house, meals all together is this mom’s dream!”
